It has been a crazy week and weekend! I haven't been able to post much, but I thought it was time to introduce myself a bit. I thought I might share a few random details.
1) I would one day like to try beekeeping.
Just on a small-scale. How cool would that be?
2) I'm not sure how I would do at beekeeping, because I can barely keep plants alive....
Green thumb? Nope. Succulents are the only things I've been able to keep a bit longer....
3) One thing I like doing when I need to get out is browse the aisles of Target.
Key word: browse. I'm really good at window shopping.
4) I studied abroad and LOVED it!
I studied in Austria for two years, and another year and a half in Tennessee (Tennessee counts as abroad because I'm Canadian and because I said so).
5) For a long time, my dream was to write jingles for a living.
How awesome would that have been?
6) My least favourite chore is ironing.
I think this comes from the frustration that I'm not good at it (which is probably a direct result of my dad ironing anything I needed ironing growing up...).
7) I tend to imagine the worst scenarios for everything I'm doing.
Like using the garburator (garbage disposal for my American friends) or driving over train tracks....I might lose my hand - or my life!
8) I learned how to do a 360 the first time I was ever on a snowboard.
I was successful too - until someone pointed it out and I fell on my face. Too much pressure. It's a wonder I got an A in public speaking (Another fun fact!).
9) I am the clumsiest person you'll ever meet - unless we meet on a basketball court.
I'll trip over every chair, but sink every lay-up.
10) One of my greatest goals? To be a "domestic goddess." Of course.
Think Martha Stewart meets Cinderella. I guess this means I'll have to embrace ironing eventually....
Still think I'm cool?
